James Louis McCartney (b. 1977, musician, with Linda McCartney)
Only son of Paul and Linda McCartney named after the respective fathers of Paul and Linda. James was born at the Avenue Clinic in St John’s Wood. London, on 12 September 1977.
Rather publicity-shy, little has been heard of him apart from a few of the accidents he has been involved in. In September 1989 he had a brush with death while surfing in high seas and apparently vanished for 40 minutes.
Then on 3 May 1995 he was driving a Land Rover which overturned, trapping him beneath. He was airlifted to hospital, but the only injury he’d sustained was a broken ankle.
In Paul's 1997 album "Flaming Pie", James played the electric guitar in "Heaven on Sunday". He has played in a few songs on his father's albums.
James was at his mother(Linda)'s bedside when lost her battle to breast cancer. It has been said that he slept with Paul for a months after her passing. Since then, James has graduated from college.
In 2005, fans spotted James at a few of his father(Paul)'s United States concert. He currently lives in England and lives in privacy.
